Tuesday Afternoon Embroidery 1.00 pm – 3.30 pm

INTRODUCTION TO STITCHTHING IN PATCHWORK – Learn basic stitches needed to complete stitchery blocks
WOOL EMBROIDERY – Learn embroidery stitches and create an heirloom baby blanket or knee rug.
STUMPWORK – Lear the techniques of 3D embroidery
EMBROIDERY – Come and learn basic techniques for crewel embroidery, candlewicking, thread painting, gold work and much more…
PATCHWORK – A guide through all aspects of patchwork, hand pieced or machine pieced projects that will result in heirloom quilts for you
PAINT AND EMBROIDERY – Learn how to use paints for a great background on your embroidered project.

Wednesday Morning Patchwork 9.30 am – 12.30 pm

Begin by learning the basics to machine patchworking; learn how to create various blocks, make your own templates, learn to sew curves, and the technique of needle turn appliqué which can all be put into your first sampler quilt. Create other quilts of your choice such as Bargello, Double Wedding Ring, Log Cabin, Appique Quilts and much more….

Cost $15 pw plus requirements

Secret Blokes business - Patchwork & Embroidery for Men only Tuesday evening 6.30 - 9.30pm

Whether you want to learn patchwork, knit, crochet, embroider, do tapestries or cross stitch, all MALE crafters are welcome to join our "secret blokes business" group. Make new friends (oops new mates) while you enjoy your time creating all those wonderful things you thought only women should do.  Contact the store for bookings.
